By Car

The Phoenix Park is 10 kilometres drive from the hotel, it is recommended that you take a short cut through the Port Tunnel, from here drive south on the quays until you reach Heuston station. Take right turn before Heuston station. Take the next left and then take a right at the criminal courts onto Infirmary road, drive straight up Infirmary road and the entrance to the park will be on your left.

Take the complimentary airport shuttle from Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport departing every 20 minutes from outside the hotel. Change bus to the number 16 at the airport which will bring you to O’ Connell Street. From here either take the Luas, Dublin’s tram system, southbound to stop called ‘Museum’. The Phoenix Park is a short 5-minute walk. Walk straight toward the criminal courts at the corner of Infirmary Road. Turn right onto Infirmary Road and the entrance to the park is on your left. Alternatively, from the city centre you can take a number of buses 25, 26, 46A, 66 / 66A / 66B, 67, 69 or the Dublin hop on hop off bus tour.
Not a weekend goes by without something happening in the Phoenix Park, it is one of Dublin’s loveliest places to visit and the team at Clayton Hotel Dublin recommend it for a great day out.
