Daily Operations

• All internal staff communication is via email.
• We use Digital Marketing as much as possible in favour of traditional print media.
• We have a towel and bed linen reuse program in place and all of our linen is supplied by a supplier who has their own eco-policy which involves the reduction in the amount of energy they use, to recycle water and heat to reduce their impact, as well as recycling material wherever possible.
• We have removed all the single-use plastics from our bedrooms and have replaced them with Anyah Products. The Eco-labelled products are friendly to the environment and are formulated with essentials and active ingredients. The bottle is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic.
• All bedrooms need a room key in order to turn on the lights – whereby all electric appliances are turned off when the guest is not in the room.
• Newspapers are only available in common areas of our hotel and are slowly being phased out in favour of digital alternatives.
• Till receipts from our Bar and Restaurant are given upon guest request in order to save paper used from the till roll.
• Motion sensors are established in all offices, automatically turning off after 15 minutes of inactivity.
• All office, meeting room lights and equipment shut down when not in use.
• All light fluorescent bulbs in our meeting rooms have been replaced with LED bulbs.
• Pens in our meeting rooms have been replaced with pencils and paper is only available upon request and not laid out on tables as previously done.
• Solar Panels have been installed on our roof since the hotel was built in 2005.
